Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra & Percussion Ensemble

The Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra, the most advanced ensemble of the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra Program, takes the stage at the Carpenter Theatre the final time this season to perform Tchaikovsky’s lush Symphony No. 5. This concert will also feature violist Joe Legutko, winner of the 2024–2025 Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and Sylvie Dow, RSYO’s harpist.

In addition to performing with RSYO, Percussion Ensemble, led by director Dr. Justin Alexander, will present chamber works rehearsed throughout the year.
